Case study · Missing Perspectives
1.1 million views from a one bedroom flat
Leave It On The Table: Missing Perspectives’ supper club series tackling the big issues, with Bumble Australia and HP Australia.

The brief
Capture the night without interrupting it.
Missing Perspectives had the format. Six women, one dinner table, and a stack of cards asking the questions that normally stay in the group chat.
What the format needed was a crew who could shoot the unscripted conversation without interrupting the flow of the evening. There were no second takes. The conversation needed to be captured cinematically and organically.
It ran twice. In April 2025 with Bumble Australia, on dating, safety and politics. In October 2025 with HP Australia, on work, ambition and the invisible load. Same table, same flat, two completely different rooms.
The film
Shot for social.
The full series was shot vertically, to create the highest quality asset for Instagram, where the content would live.
Shooting vertically from the start meant every frame was composed for the phone, rather than cropped down from a widescreen edit.

Our approach
We treated a one bedroom flat like a set, then hid every trace of it.
The table was the whole idea, so we lit the table and nothing else. A single large soft source, rigged overhead and gridded, so the room went dark behind the guests. Everything the audience reads as warmth is in shot doing the work: the candles, the lamp, the practicals on the shelves.
Five cameras ran the whole night and every seat was wired, so nobody had to interrupt a good answer to pick up coverage.
Then we changed the colour of the room. Bumble's table was styled entirely in yellow, HP's in deep blue. One flat, two campaigns, legible on a feed before anyone read the caption.
What the client said
“Culture Content helped us capture innovative, creative content for Leave It on the Table, seamlessly integrating the set, crew and cameras into the experience so effortlessly that you barely noticed they were there. The result was natural, unobtrusive and brilliantly executed.”
The series
Cut for the feed, one question per film.
